Dr. Jacob Bloom is a board certified plastic surgeon and medical director of Reset Medical Spa. After practicing for several years in the northern suburbs of Chicago, Dr. Bloom founded Bloom Plastic Surgery in downtown Chicago. In addition, he is affiliated with Illinois Dermatology Institute, and is trusted to handle the plastic surgery needs of the largest dermatology practice in the state. Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS), Dr. Bloom is excited to now offer complete skin solutions to the greater Chicago area. Raised in Northbrook, Illinois, Dr. Bloom takes great pride in treating patients in his hometown. After receiving his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan, Dr. Jacob Bloom graduated at the top of his class from the Chicago Medical School. He earned a coveted Plastic Surgery Residency at the esteemed University of Rochester Medical Center in New York. Following his residency, Dr. Bloom continued his surgical training in the Harvard Medical system at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts.
Dr. Bloom has vast experience in cosmetic procedures of the breast and body as well as significant experience in facial rejuvenation. He has become highly sought after for minimally invasive procedures such as Botox, Juvederm, and Voluma for the natural results he achieves and his gentle touch. Clare Spahr is Reset Tattoo Removal & Skin Rejuvenation MedSpa’s Physician Assistant, specializing in laser tattoo removal and injectable services. Originally from Rockford, Illinois, Clare completed her undergraduate studies at Illinois State University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. She then moved to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, where she attended Arcadia University’s Physician Assistant Program. She completed rotations in Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, and Aesthetic Medicine. Following graduation she worked as a PA for an ENT/Head and Neck surgery practice. Aside from her clinical training, Clare has attended numerous professional trainings and conferences on the various aesthetic procedures offered here at Reset. She loves spending time with her patients, and her passion in the field is listening and interacting with patients to help them achieve their personal aesthetic goals. When she’s not working Clare enjoys traveling, exploring Chicago, and, of course, spending time with her family, friends and her dogs!
